- The week of September 7th the Michigan State Spartans are facing off against the Oregon Ducks. This game is a rematch of last year's game which the Ducks beat the Spartans on September 6th, 46-27. Leading the way for the Ducks was Heisman soon to be Marcus Mariota and Oregon's fast paced offense. Sadly Connor Cook and the Spartans did not come out with the victory. This year the big game is in East Lancing, Michigan, home of the Spartans. Coming into this year's game Michigan State is ranked fifth in nation with the Oregon close behind at seventh. The prectided victor of this game are the Spartans by a slim margin of four. Another thing coming into this week is that both Michigan State and Oregon are 1-0 and ranked in the top ten. this means that the loser is most likely to be booted out of the top ten.The game was intence. Both teams came out runnning and gunning. With the halftime score of 14-7 MSU. Michigan States defence are what helped the spartans maintain the lead in the first half forcing Adam(Oregon's quarterback) two throw two interceptions and stop Oregon at the one yard line on fourth and goal which if Oregon scored Michigan State would have lost. After the first jumping straight into the fourth quarter it was 31-21 and then Adams threw a fenominal throw and Marshall and the score was 31-28. Michigan State had it in them and they won the game barely by three. Which is one of the perdicted margin which was MSU by four. Now the Spartans are ranked 4th in the nation and the Ducks are 13th. Now going into the week of Sep. 14th MSU is taking on Airforce in East Lancing. Even though it's going to be a home game MSU has to deal with the dual option of Airforce. This means that the quarterback can keep or throw the ball to the running back while running forward. He can not throw the ball ahead it must be at least to the side or behind him. Lets see who wins the game....
