Spartans are Going Up

On September 19th the Spartans took on the Air Force Falcons. The game was played in East Lansing, Michigan. First MSU scored with Cook passing to Price for a 15 yard touchdown. Now that the game is 7-0 the Falcons fumble it and RJ Williamson recovers it and runs it to the house for a 64 yard defensive touchdown. Then late in the 1st quarter Air Force scored. This making the score 14-7 Spartans. Going into the second quarter Aaron Burbridge caught a pair of TD's. At the half it was 28-7 MSU. Opening up the third Burbridge caught his third TD and made the lead 35-7. At the end of the game MSU gave up some touchdowns but in the end the Spartans prevailed with the score of 35-21. Something really big happened later that Saturday. Number 2 Alabama lost to the 15th ranked team in the nation Ole Miss. Since this happened most football followers would think TCU, the team ahead of MSU at the time, would move to second from third and MSU to third from fourth. But since MSU has beat a top 10 team and played a stronger roster at the time MSU went straight to second and TCU stayed at third while Ole Miss shot up to third since they received the same amount of votes. So the top 3 look like this: Ohio State 1, Michigan State 2, TCU/Ole Miss 3. Since two teams are third there are no fourth best teams in the country. On Saturday Sep.26 MSU played Central Michigan. The game is obviously going to be a win for the Spartans but with them hopefully winning they will be 4-0, 4 wins/ 0 losses, MSU will have played at the end of the year 3 Michigan teams. They played Western Michigan, playing Central this week, and playing Michigan in Ann Harbor.
All I have to say is may the Green and White be with YOU!
Goooooooooo Spartans!!!
