3 Things This Week
In the next week 2 things will happen and one of the topics already happened. What happened already is that MSU played Maryland on the 14th. This game was pretty okay. Not much happened in the game. This game began with two touchdowns in the first quarter. One for each team. Other wise the game was silent for the Terrapins. MSU scored 17 more points. The final score was 24-7. Now next MSU plays the Buckeyes of OSU, Ohio State University. This is the team MSU MUST WIN. The reason is that if they win they go to the Big 10 championship and most likely go to the playoffs with those town bigs wins. The third and final thing is BASKETBALL. The season has started and so has the win streak. MSU won their first game last week. On tuesday the Spartans play Kansas in neutral territory in Chicago. As I bid you farewell, may one season begin and one come to an end well.

Playoff Rankings and a Bull Call to Lose
On Halloween MSU had a bye week so they didn't play. While they were resting the first playoff rankings we released. MSU was ranked 7th in the nation. The number one team is Clemson. This is a school located in South Carolina and they are undefeated like MSU. Now on November seventh MSU played Nebraska in Lincoln. In the first quarter MSU scored a field goal while the Corn huskers scored ten points. In the second MSU scored 14 and Nebraka scored a field goal. At halftime the score was seventeen to thirteen MSU. Now in the third quarter MSU scored fourteen points while Nebraska scored one touchdown. Now in the fourth MSU scored seven points while Nebraska scored 19. They won the game by one point on one of the worst calls on time. The reciver stepped out. Now when this happens the reffs look to see if he was pucshed of if he stepped out by himself. The reciver stepped out but the reffs called the opposite. So now MSU is 8-1 and not undefeated. In my eyes that was a Bull$%!^ call. All in all MSU is playing Maryland and I know fo sure MSU will win.

Indiana a Pull Away and Nothing to Come.
So.... on October 24 MSU played Indiana. This game was played at home, did you not know. During this game there was not much action. In the first quarter both teams scored a TD and made the score 7-7. Now in the second the game started to go up. MSU scored 14. While the Hoosiers scored 13. Going into the halftime break the score is 21 to 20 Spartans!!!! Now in the second half in the third quarter the score stayed the same. MSU sscore 7 while Indiana score 6. Now in the fourth quarter the game heated up. The Hoosiers scored 35 points while MSU only had one. Sike, Ha Got Eem. Nah MSU scored 24 points to close up and secure the victory! The final score was 52 Spartans to the Hoosiers' 26. This was a great game for Connor Cook, MSU's Quarterback. He had 4 TD's and was 2 yards shy from breaking MSU's single game mark. Spartans have a bye this week so no game.

What a Finish in Ann Arbor and Hoosiers Better get Ready
On October 17th MSU played UM (Michigan) in Ann Arbor. Going into the game Michigan has shut out the last three opponents they have played. This means that Michigan has not let up a point in the past three games. In the first quarter no one scored. In the second though Michigan State scored a TD and Michigan scored a TD and a field goal. Going into the half UM was up 10-7. In the third the second quarter repeated. MSU plus 7 and UM plus 10. So the score going into the fourth quarter is 20-14. In the fourth MSU scored a TD and UM scored a field goal. Now the score is 23-21 UM. Then on the last play of the game UM was punting and the kicker fumbled it then Jalen Watts-Jackson grabbed the ball and ran if for a TD. There was no clock left and this was sealing the deal for the win. This was the first time MSU led and it was there "last" since the game was over. The only bad thing is the Jalen broke his hip when he was tackled so he had to go to surgery at once. He is okay and on the way to feeling better. Now looking forward to October 24th MSU is playing Indiana who is 4-3. Their quarter back and running back were both injured last week. They will play but it could affect them. In genreal this game should be an easy pezy win for the SPARTANS!

Rutgers Spartans Win, Ann Arbor here The Spartans Come
Looking back at October 10th Michigan State went to New Jersey to play Rutgers. This is MSU's second road game and first road conference game. To open up the game there was one score in the first quarter. The Spartans scored making the game seven to zero. In the second quarter MSU lost the lead since they only scored a field while Rutger's scored two TD's. Leading into the half the Rutgers were winning 14-10. In the third MSU answered back with two TD's while only allowing one touchdown in return. Looking ahead in the fourth MSU was winning 24-21. Finally at the game Rutgers tied it up but MSU prevailed and scored a TD. The final score was 31-24. Now on October 17th MSU will be playing Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan. This is one of the biggest games for MSU this year since it is and away game. This game will be the 108th meeting between the two. MSU is on a streak with three wins against Michigan. Surprisingly Michigan has the biggest win at 119 to 0. This game was played in 1902. Hopefully MSU wins the game (spoilers what a finish the game was). And to conclude my quote of the week is:
"Go ahead, make my day by Winning."

Purdue a Scare and Rutgers for Sure
On October third, MSU played their first conference game against Purdue. Purdue is a school in West La Fayette, Indiana. This game was played in East Lancing, Michigan. In the first quarter, with 7'11'' left in the quarter, MSU's LJ Scott scores a 18yd. touchdown which brings the score 14-0. Prior to this, Scott already had a 1yd TD. This wraps up the first quarter and now we move into the second quarter. Here, there was only one score and it belonged to the Spartans. Connor Cook (MSU QB) threw a quick shovel pass to RJ Sheldon (Wideout) for the 23yd score. Going into half time, the Spartans were up 21-0. Going into the Second half and the third quarter there was a still one score but this time it belonged to Purdue with a 2yd TD pass. With that extra point, it made the score 21-7 going into the fourth quarter. Not even a minute into the fourth, Purdue manages to score and makes the game a one possession game with the score at 21-14 MSU. Later, in the fourth the Spartans took a field goal to make it a ten point game at 24-14. Purdue wasn't done. They ended up scoring and making the game 24-21 Spartans. Luckily the Spartans held on and won the game making them 5-0 (1-0) in the season and 1-0 in conference. Now, looking into this weeks game coming up on October 10th, the Spartans are playing Rutgers. Rutgers is also in the Big Ten. The college is located in New Jersey. Rutgers is 2-2 and 0-1 in this conference. They are not the best team yet not the worst. They have not played anyone big this season but they will on Saturday.
Finally my quote of the week is:
Spartans phone in a Win.

First Confrence Game this Season Prediction
Going back on last weeks game the Spartans came away with a victory. Going into the first quarter there was three attempts to score from both teams combined and the Spartans were the ones that scored. Central Michigan attempted two field goals and both were blocked by the MSU defensive line. Demitrius Copper and Shilique Calhoun were credited with the two blocks. After the first block MSU's runningback London scored a TD and the score was 7-zip MSU. Going into the second though MSU opened it up with a field goal to make it a 10 point game. Then Central Michigan scored a touchdown in response. Going into the half the score was 10 to 7 Spartans. The only score in the third quarter was a field goal surprisingly made by Central Michigan. This would be their last score and MSU would pull ahead in the fourth. In the fourth another back for the Spartans Holmes scored a pair of TDs in the fourth one of the extra points was blocked. The final score of the game was 30-10 with the Spartans winning. This make them 4-0. Looking forward to the game on the 3rd of October Michigan State is playing their 100th homecoming and are playing their first confrence game this season. This game is at home for the Spartans. They will be playing the Purdue Boilermakers. Knowing that MSU will win it will make them 5-0. This game will also make them top in the division for their conference at the time. What this means is that MSU's conference is the Big 10. It has 14 teams, and is split into two divisions, east and west. The only big competition MSU has is Michigan and Ohio State for a couple reasons. One is that MSU plays both away not at home. The other is that OSU is ranked number one in the nation at the moment. All I have to say is that if MSU stays undefeated or only loses to OSU they will make the playoffs no doubt.
Finally all I need to say is, Spartans. Michigan State Spartans.
Finally all I need to say is, Spartans. Michigan State Spartans.

Spartans are Going Up
On September 19th the Spartans took on the Air Force Falcons. The game was played in East Lansing, Michigan. First MSU scored with Cook passing to Price for a 15 yard touchdown. Now that the game is 7-0 the Falcons fumble it and RJ Williamson recovers it and runs it to the house for a 64 yard defensive touchdown. Then late in the 1st quarter Air Force scored. This making the score 14-7 Spartans. Going into the second quarter Aaron Burbridge caught a pair of TD's. At the half it was 28-7 MSU. Opening up the third Burbridge caught his third TD and made the lead 35-7. At the end of the game MSU gave up some touchdowns but in the end the Spartans prevailed with the score of 35-21. Something really big happened later that Saturday. Number 2 Alabama lost to the 15th ranked team in the nation Ole Miss. Since this happened most football followers would think TCU, the team ahead of MSU at the time, would move to second from third and MSU to third from fourth. But since MSU has beat a top 10 team and played a stronger roster at the time MSU went straight to second and TCU stayed at third while Ole Miss shot up to third since they received the same amount of votes. So the top 3 look like this: Ohio State 1, Michigan State 2, TCU/Ole Miss 3. Since two teams are third there are no fourth best teams in the country. On Saturday Sep.26 MSU played Central Michigan. The game is obviously going to be a win for the Spartans but with them hopefully winning they will be 4-0, 4 wins/ 0 losses, MSU will have played at the end of the year 3 Michigan teams. They played Western Michigan, playing Central this week, and playing Michigan in Ann Harbor.
All I have to say is may the Green and White be with YOU!

Spartans VS. The Ducks
- The week of September 7th the Michigan State Spartans are facing off against the Oregon Ducks. This game is a rematch of last year's game which the Ducks beat the Spartans on September 6th, 46-27. Leading the way for the Ducks was Heisman soon to be Marcus Mariota and Oregon's fast paced offense. Sadly Connor Cook and the Spartans did not come out with the victory. This year the big game is in East Lancing, Michigan, home of the Spartans. Coming into this year's game Michigan State is ranked fifth in nation with the Oregon close behind at seventh. The prectided victor of this game are the Spartans by a slim margin of four. Another thing coming into this week is that both Michigan State and Oregon are 1-0 and ranked in the top ten. this means that the loser is most likely to be booted out of the top ten.The game was intence. Both teams came out runnning and gunning. With the halftime score of 14-7 MSU. Michigan States defence are what helped the spartans maintain the lead in the first half forcing Adam(Oregon's quarterback) two throw two interceptions and stop Oregon at the one yard line on fourth and goal which if Oregon scored Michigan State would have lost. After the first jumping straight into the fourth quarter it was 31-21 and then Adams threw a fenominal throw and Marshall and the score was 31-28. Michigan State had it in them and they won the game barely by three. Which is one of the perdicted margin which was MSU by four. Now the Spartans are ranked 4th in the nation and the Ducks are 13th. Now going into the week of Sep. 14th MSU is taking on Airforce in East Lancing. Even though it's going to be a home game MSU has to deal with the dual option of Airforce. This means that the quarterback can keep or throw the ball to the running back while running forward. He can not throw the ball ahead it must be at least to the side or behind him. Lets see who wins the game....
- GO SPARTANS!!!!!!!!!!
